1970.

April 2021, for sale via Rondinelli Classic Sports Cars, Bologna/I.

"One of the last Mexico produced, in an unusual state of conservation: purchased in Milan in June 1970 by the first owner in the classic metallic gray with black leather interior, the car has had two successive owners; the second for 10 years and the current for over 30.

Vignale's modern design in 1965 broke the mold with the more classic style of the company from Modena: the so-called "family feeling" with the Quattroporte was evident and the Mexico also borrowed the 4.2 engine from the large sedan, instead of the initial 4.7. The 8-cylinder delivers around 260 horsepower which, coupled to the 5-speed gearbox, makes the car comfortable and pleasant, also with a servo-assisted and ventilated braking system.

Characterized by a complete standard equipment (leather seats, wooden interiors, radio system, electric windows and air conditioning) they placed the Gran Turismo of the trident in direct comparison, without fear, with Italian and foreign rivals.

The body is in good condition, in need of polishing and general "car detailing", as well as the interior: free of tears and wear, the leather simply needs care and attention. Mechanically, the car is in running order: however, given the occasional use the in recent years, it requires a general overhaul. The reported kilometers are 75,000 : although use has been extremely low in the last 30 years, we are unable to state whether it is 75 or 175,000 kilometers

Original square plate and copy of the italian Foglio Complementare. The car could be seen by appointment in Bologna."
