1971, probably sold new in Italy.

2003, located in France.

22.06.2015, sold via Artcurial Motorcars Paris/F, 149.000 €

Having spent part of its life in an Italian museum where it remained in storage, this car was purchased in 2003 by its current owner, a Maserati enthusiast who has owned several Maseratis since he was 18 years old, including a Khamsin, a Kyalami and a Gransport. He purchased this car from the garage Tralli, in Bomporto (near Modena), specialized in the maintenance of Maseratis, and who made repairs to the engine and the body in 2002. Its superb "Senape" (mustard) upholstery, most likely original, is very well preserved, with the driver's seat showing some cracks, indicating a moderate and careful use. Since 2003, the car has covered approximately 10,000 km, whilst benefiting from regular maintenance by specialists Tralli, the owner taking the car by road to them. He even made a trip to Rome in 2005, to participate in the 90th anniversary celebration of the brand.
This Mexico is equipped with its original engine, the 4.7-liter version of Maserati's V8, and not the 4.2, power steering and air-conditioning. A sound car, in the hands of a passionate marque enthusiast, with the desirable specifications, this car represents an opportunity to own a model that is little known but very efficient, spacious and whose Vignale design exemplifies sober elegance.
